The TFV12 Prince Tank is the baby of the popular cloud beast king. It is an all-round sub-ohm tank that is perfect for everyday use. The TFV12 follows on from the massive success of its predecessors – the TFV4 and TFV8 sub-ohm tanks. Since its release, the TFV12 Prince tank by Smok has been one of the best selling sub-ohm tanks in the market. It features a brand new design, a new coil system, and a new drip-tip system.
The tank comes to you from the portfolio of one of the most reputable electronic cigarette manufacturers in the market – Smok. The company began in 2010 and today they have a line of products that have changed the concept of vaping for a lot of people. Design and Build Quality
Every new release of the TFV tank seems to be bigger than the last, and the TFV12 Prince tank is no different. It is made of stainless steel. It features a newly designed crown-style body with a colorful Cobra resin drip tip. You even get to choose from an extensive color range: rainbow, purple, blue, red, pink, green, navy, black, white, gunmetal, and matte black. It sports knurling on both the top and bottom parts that help with your grip. It still features the 3-part design as the previous models.
It stands 70mm tall and weighs 91g with a 25mm diameter at the base and a 27mm diameter in the glass portion. This is so that the tank can easily accommodate its huge coil heads. The tank adopts a food-grade convex glass tube that is quite different from that of traditional tanks. Thanks to its shape, it can effectively enlarge the total ejuice capacity of the tank. That said, the TFV12 Prince tank can accommodate a whopping 6ml of ejuice.
It features a patent locking mechanism. You simply press the button and then you can open the cap. When it is closed, it stays in place at all times while vaping. The tank uses a swivel-top filling mechanism and a wide bore Delrin drip tip that is easy to remove. To refill, you simply press and then swivel the top cap away to reveal the refill gasket with a big hole.
Just like on the previous models, the TFV12 tank has the same two-slot airflow although the holes are much bigger.
The TFV12 Prince tank by Smok comes equipped with full RBA capabilities, allowing you to build your coils with the tank. This means that you are still not limited to only the TFV12 coils that Smok produces which also means that you get to save a couple of bucks on coils.
TFV12 Prince Coils
The coils are some of the biggest in the market, but all that size is not for nothing. There are two types of TFV12 coils – the Strip and Mesh coil.
TFV12 Prince Strip Coil
This is a 0.15-ohm coil that features a larger surface heating area. This means that your ejuice will be heated evenly, giving you purer and consistent flavor every time. You can use the coils anywhere between 40 to 80 watts but they are best at 80 to 90 watts.
TFV12 Prince Mesh Coil
This mesh coil is a 0.15-ohm coil that can be vaped around 40 to 80 watts but is best at 60 to 70 watts. They are specially designed to deliver huge vapor with every drag.

Verdict
This advanced sub-ohm tank is aimed at experienced vapers only. It is incredible, from the elegant design to its chunky ejuice capacity, to the chunky vapor and rich flavor delivery of its coil heads. This is not putting into consideration its resin drip tips and RBA capabilities.
